Final Fantasy XV is divisive but I think it's worth the $20 or less that you can get it for now. Disgaea 5 is great if you like SRPGs. You don't need have played the others since the story is standalone. If you want a fan servicy weeb action game, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is dumb fun in small doses.

I liked Valkyria Chronicles 2, although yeah not as much as the first one. 3 I never played but it does have a fan translation so might emulate and give it a go before 4. The Revolution spinoff looks like ass, will pass on it or at best try it when it's <$10.
