Episode 96: "Combine Your Strength!  The Final Kamehame-Ha!"

Recap: Goku transported himself and Cell to King Kai's Planet in an attempt to save the Earth from Cell's explosion.  In almost no time, Cell explodes killing Goku, King Kai, Bubbles, and Jeffrey.  Back on Earth, the Z Fighters, and especially Gohan, mourn the loss of Goku.  Meanwhile, along Snake Way, King Kai and Goku realize that Cell is missing, which means he somehow survived his own self-destruction.  Suddenly, on Earth, the Z Fighters feel Cell's energy and in a flash Cell re-emerges in his Perfect Form, even stronger than ever, and now equipped with Goku's Instant Transmission technique.

Wasting no time, he unleashes a quick beam attack that instantly kills Trunks.  Vegeta, in a blind rage at seeing the death of his son, barrages Cell with everything he has.  Cell brushes it off and fires a deadly beam right back at Vegeta.  Gohan pushes him out the way, saving Vegeta's life, but breaks his arm taking the hit.  Cell, no longer in the mood to play games, flies into the sky and prepares to fire a Solar Kamehameha that will obliterate, not just Earth, but the whole Solar System.  With Gohan severely hurt, can anyone stop Cell before he destroys everything?

oh look, a game based on that Giant anime created by a Neo Nazi

(I'm semi-joking but several of the heroic characters are based on WW2 war Criminals so....the creator has weird priorities)

And who cares?

Japan has never been very apologetic for their role in WWII.  They still sort of consider themselves the good guys.  Sort of.  It's a complicated issue for them but they don't apologize for it.
