I thought Rokuro sounded familiar but then I remembered he's from another Exorcist show. 😄

This show, man, it takes a lot of inspiration from Bleach and probably this show as well.  The monsters are like hollows and there's a group of elite exorcists like the captains.  I couldn't watch it again because one of the villains is a shitty version of Aizen played by Vic that's annoying as fuck.  One of the characters looks like Shiemi and there's a red haired Sasuke. 😄

And you guys won't believe this... there's a scheming puppet master villain with the same voice actor as Muzan.  Preceded by many years but still crazy.

Does she have the same design as the mom from the first anime?

I thought the anime was too close to the manga and that's why it resorted to filler.  How could the animators have known about this?

Trivia from the fandom wiki

  • Despite appearing in the anime much before appearing in the manga, both of Yuri's appearances match. This could mean her anime design was made by the series' creator Kazue Katō (either especially for the anime or so that she looked the same in the manga) or that she simply decided to make the anime design official.

Very interesting.  I'd say the most likely scenario is Kato already had the design and name for her created and ready to go for her eventual introduction in the manga, and this was passed along to the animators.  At least THAT is consistent with the canon story lmao.

Yup, that would be my guess as well, since Satan references her right in chapter one when he possesses Fujimoto so Kato must have been considering details for her already plus however long production took to reach that point in the anime while Kato had continued working on the manga at the same time  

Yeah, and voice too heh since they brought back the voice actresses too. Will be cool to hear Cherami finally voice the official version of the character when we learn her real story.
