Same here, I haven't watched ahead now that season 1 came to Toonami.

My predictions

Okarun and Momo will be stucked together no matter

 

Hopefully Aira doesn't end up like Sakura Haruno and gets more of a push like Maka Albarn

I also have this prediction that momo will be a more efficient fighter because right now she seems like she's  behind Aira

I think so too, Okarun only has eyes for her so far in that way and I agree they'll keep getting pushed into situations that make them come to terms with each other, plus Momo feels like the actual protagonist in this one, so Okarun's more her love interest than her being one of his (kinda like Soul is Maka's love interest in Soul Eater, since you made me think of it :D, since Maka is another rare female shonen protag even though that was a shonen too).

Agreed. Hopefully Aira gets to carry her weight going forward in the action and contribute to the story events.

I agree with what your saying

I'd like momo to be much more of a efficient  fighter later on,maybe she will be like Maka.

The romance in Soul Eater (SoulxMaka and SteinxMarie) was  there but not as pronounced or being shoved in the viewers/readers out in the open as badly like  Dandadan is doing.

We never had the whole 3 character romance dynamic like Okarun/momo/Jin and Okarun/momo/aira ever in Soul Eater

I think Aira and Jin will be secretly a pairing down the line

That would be great. There have been little highlight moments of that for Momo during the fights, so hopefully she keeps improving like you said, it's been good that she's actually gotten in on the fist fighting pretty regularly which is more than usual already.

Yeah, with this show it's front and center as a major through line and huge part of the comedy.

Yeah, they each sorta had their own in Soul Eater.

Could certainly see that.
And yeah now that Aira has a transformation too, and presumably Jiji has something as well, they should all be contributing.
