Wow they edited the hell out of the OP!  The song wasn't as good as the first one, but still.  I like seeing the characters in modern clothes haha.

So looks like not everything transferred, since some of the R&D department's equipment is still here, and it wasn't shadow proof like Mayuri, Nemu, and his lab.

The Soul Reapers are having to get creative and inventive without their Bankais.  Good team work by Toshiro and Rangiku.

I don't speak French!  But I guess Kubo finally got French into the series without having to invent a whole other faction.

LOL Mayuri is full of himself.  Thinks he's the only one who can fight without Bankai.

Also this crazy hallway training, whatever it is, wasn't in the manga, either.  The story is definitely being expanded, and for the better, in the Thousand Year Blood War anime.  But I don't know how much was stuff Kubo always wanted to put in the story and couldn't, and how much of it he came up with after the fact.
