Warner’s streaming division turns a $677 million profit as Max gains 6 million subscribers year-to-year.

I’ll come back once all the new season of Righteous Gemstones is out. Then I’ll watch Creature Commandos and some other stuff they added since October and then drop it again.

I can’t help but think they still would have turned this profit without writing off so many projects most of which frankly weren’t big budget projects. And they’re morons for not releasing Coyote vs ACME after inadvertently building interest by threatening to vault it.

But the silver lining is that they probably won’t be so quick to write off projects that aren’t immediately successful now that Zaslav has dug WB/D out of the hole AT&T left them.

So you're saying IFG might be saved?

No, it tanked on Max too.

What people are saying is that this is likely more incentive for Warner to divest themselves from their linear channels.

So....

All that purging for this?

Fuck'em. I hope the whole company and Zaslav chokes.

Racist anti-animation motherfucker.

Profits up substantially, subscriber count up, they are gonna be throwing ol Zaz one hell of a party. In the eyes of the stock holders, everything he did was justified and successful.
