If you ever feel like a real tearfest, try that one out. Not familiar with that one. What was that show SyFy aired? Here and There, Now and Then? Seemed like it was depressing for the sake of it. 😄 1

Didn't make me cry rivers like Nobody's Boy Remi did though. 2
OwlChemist81 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 There was a damn tearjerker in something Toonami showed recently which was on the order of this, but I can't remember what.

Why was the Mexican government so upset we arrested El Chapo's son? Give President Scheinbaum time--she'll deal with the cartels.

Well now I know better and look up the synopsis and try to at least get general impressions of shows. Going in cold to 100% avoid spoilers can backfire spectacularly. I got an idea of the tone of Jujutsu Kaisen (also apparently had a terrible ending,) Chainsaw Man, and Freiren, so I won't be watching them. Was finally going to watch Re:Zero but then I realized it's probably depressing as fuck too haha. So I definitely won't be watching the show you mentioned. 😄 I guess I've gone soft, but I've had enough messed up stuff in my own life and real world events that past 5 or 6 years, without adding fictional stuff to it. I can't even watch horror anymore. 1

PokeNirvash Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Jesus, I know One Piece's tragic flashbacks are far from knowing subtlety, but holy shit... That was just too much, man. 1

I think it may have been the petrification scene in Dr. Stone: New World? Even though it was eventually resolved, still--oh man!!
