Think about all those expenses he hid for a second.  Was he pocketing that money?  Macy's is pretty much the last bastion of mall department stores so this oughta be interesting.

I guess that's why one pair of second rate socks costs twenty dollars there.  Gotta make up for those losses somewhere.

They just discovered the losses so there would be no accounting for them. in profit seeking or otherwise. In fact, if expenses were artificially hidden, that would’ve behooved them to keep the prices lower.

It's so strange to see someone so fiscally sound seeing Macy's as a store of extravagance

There's a difference between extravagance a taking advantage of gullible people.  Macy's doesn't sell anything that I can't buy someplace else for a third of the price.

A bodega is a small grocery store.

Sigh, they sell other shit, including your bootleg smokes, but keep thinking semantics is going to mask the fact that you are quite possibly the stupidest person to ever roam these halls

Food, paper products and kitchen wares.  They don't sell clothing, furniture, shoes, appliances, watches, etc.

Cigarettes?  Some do and they always have the correct tax stamp.

Apparently, you have never been inside one.

Yeah, this is one of those times that arguing with you only drags me down.

Since you need to Google all of your arguments just to be wrong, I'm sure you've already googled what they carry and omitted any of the various results that disarm your dumb argument from your brain so I'm just going to call you wrong, obstinate and dumb.

What's there to Google?  Just go into one.

No furniture, Doc.

You want furniture, go to Bob's Discount Furniture.

Want clothes?  Go to Lots Corner.
