Oh god here we go.  This is where it REALLY turns to shit.  Not just trying to have moral equivalence bullshit with the demons, but trying to make SATAN sympathetic.  They made him into a fucking Twilight character!

Still don't get why if the church is so strict they work with Mephisto.  I assume this was better explained in the canon story.

I suppose those were some good points in its favor, and the action was good.  I hope tonight's episode was better.

Trivia from the wiki

- Her immunity to Satan's blue flames in the anime contradicts what Satan said about her in the beginning of the series, as he claims his flames destroyed the body of Rin's mother.

 

I guess it's possible it could still be revealed he lied for some reason about this detail for some reason even in later canon seasons of the anime, or oops they forgot Satan already claimed his flames destroyed her body so she couldn't be immune 🤣

It's one thing to do a filler divergence, but you could at least stay consistent with what was established!  It's still the same show and this isn't some alternate timeline/universe whatever thing.  Anime writers, you dun goofed!
