I've been watching it it's on Netflix right now and it's pretty damn good

 

It's not as anti-American as you think it is unless it's a translation issue or bornNetflix is underplaying it

 

But pretty good but it is more and less the story of survivor's guilt and PTSD for the main human character

I don't think Godzilla was ever anti-American.  He's anti-nuclear and, more generally, an eco warrior - he's just a giant Rachel Carson.... who's fucking Kagome's mom.
