BUU8800 Posted March 25, 2017 Share Posted March 25, 2017 I was wondering how they'd handle Mr. Satan in this, since he's genuinely pretty damn funny in the original series(especially when we get to the Buu arc) and...yeah, that wasn't particularly good. It had some moments, but certainly not worth waiting 4 months for. The barrage of short "Cell vs" videos leading up to this were better. I think TFS works better riffing on the serious material. If/when they get to the Buu arc where Toriyama begins actively inserting early Dragon Ball-style comedy again I expect them to struggle. Mind you at their current pace that won't happen until mid-2018, but still. Speaking of, I noticed yesterday a post on the video criticizing them imo pretty fairly suddenly vanished after receiving a lot of likes and my reaction was disappointment.
