That’s a surprise given how S2 ended.

It is a bit of a shock. I thought any continuation of the show would be a spin-off type deal, since Genndy was hinting at exploring multiple generations.

That and this being coined a limited series years ago. And the season two finale. But I guess the standalone title is just too big to let go anytime soon.

I don't believe Season 3 will be anything like the first 2. Well, actually, it may be more like the first than the second in that the first was an anthology series that followed the same main characters, while the second was much more story-driven.

But I feel the continued tale of "Spearette" probably won't take up the entire season.

Hot damn, this is great. It was never formally cancelled, but after a certain point my hopes for new season of this were tempered. Guess Genndy just needed a break to work on UWE.
