Now is a good time to get Season 2 on Netflix or Toonami, since it was arguably the Netflix airings that boosted the show’s popularity enough for Magen Train to be a box office hit.

So Crunchyroll is finally willing to sell the streaming rights to season 2 to Netflix. It won’t be an exclusive contract so the door is open for Toonami but it’s probably still too expensive.

At this point, they shouldn’t even bother. They have explicitly, by name, told fans they can’t air S2. Not a vague “CR won’t work with us” type statement where people have to infer, a straight up “we can’t get Demon Slayer S2 because of Sony”. That has no doubt pushed many fans to go watch it on their own. They would be blowing a massive wad of their yearly budget on a show they unintentionally sabotaged.

I've started watching it on Hulu...
