Definitely trying to stretch it out so it won't impact the midterms. And if the Republicans retake Congress, I'm sure they will just gut the investigation. Fun times.

Honestly, I saw this news and then the follow-up news that said Graham-cracker has to go talk to the lawyers after all and first thought was someone sat on a grenade for that.

But yeah, this close to the election it's more likely a wait-a-week thing.
