Netflix.  Doing pretty well there because they keep canceling non-Japanese cartoons.

Watched the first episode. Will likely watch the rest later.

Honestly in terms of production quality it looks cheaper than the original series from what I remember. Much heavier use of CGI definitely. Pretty sure with the original series it was mainly just Tiger and Barnaby that were CGI, and some others during certain scenes, but with this one it seems like almost every hero uses CGI when doing stuff, except for Blue Rose and those two girls, the one from the previous series and her new partner.

Its a lot of CG. I finished it ... It was kinda meh.

They're grasping hard for drama  and I was just kinda like .... OMG would you two just fucking kiss and get it over with it.

To be fair, while I thought the original series was entertaining, and I wouldn't be against rewatching it at some point, it was a very average series, with the quality of its writing (in my opinion) not being particularly good.

When I heard Netflix was going to be involved in this 2nd season I naturally lowered my expectations. I'm on the 4th episode, and it's not bad so far, but it's not close to being good. The only thing really carrying my interest is the OG characters and being able to see them again. Also I'm guessing this season decided to rectify the way the original one ended, cause I remember Tiger stepping down from the Hero lineup and taking up some kind of lesser hero role (don't remember the names used), and Barnaby following him. This season looks like they're pretending that didn't happen, but are still keeping the part about him losing his powers/them becoming weaker.

I mean .... same really. That's exactly how I felt. Like I'm watching it for the characters from the first season. These main villains just annoying AF

Nah, there was a movie in between seasons that ends with the boys being reinstated after a series of hijinks in which they save the city.

I've seen both movies, but that was a very long time ago, so guess I forgot.
