I will attempt to watch as much as I can until I pass out. Because that's what i do on Saturdays and that's why I binged 'Black Clover' on Crunchyroll - cuz of the passing out.

It also helps that The Suicide Squad is actually a pretty damn good movie.  They let James Gunn go 85% Troma, which is about 50% more Troma than most major studios would ever allow.

I never saw the first Suicide Squad movie because I was generally disinterested in it, and the reviews didn't help.  I usually don't care about reviews or fan reception, but if I'm already not interested in seeing something, negative reception is not going to encourage me to see a movie.  I then remembered hearing the director's cut was supposed to be better, but I never looked into seeing it.  Not sure if the director's cut is on HBO Max or not.

So does this new movie anything to do with the old one?

Though I gotta say, that new Dune movie looks a lot more interesting than The Suicide Squad or Black Widow.

I guess so.  I really don't like the voice she is using for Harley Quinn though.  It's annoying.

it'd be more annoying if she tried to go for a cliche'd higher pitch

the first suicide squad movie was pretty good, though it had some flaws (should have featured leto's Joker more; should have given Harley a more cynical ending; and some people complain abut the soundtrack being too predictable). this new one looks much better, though. and also clearly shares  timelin with the first one and Birds of Prey (which was practically flawless)
