I have the chance to acquire a big ass RV in MA but it has no title or previous registration, all I have is inspection sticker from 2015 and VIN/Serial and Model numbers.

Was going to jump through hoops in PA to title it, but it looks like I can register it in VT with just a bill of sale. I don't need to keep it registered, just enough to drive it 30 miles home, fix shit, and then later on 350 miles to Delaware.

just hop in and go, buddy. idk how it's done out there, but here you have like 24 hours from the moment of sale to get it home. figure out the rest later.

It's MA going to RI you know these states have some kind of asshole laws in place to prevent people from doing that.

In this case, I have no previous registration or title... so I'd have to use a "bill of sale".

Trust me, it's tempting. I'd at least have to clean it up and make it look inconspicuous though. It's a 36 foot RV lmao

i think a bill of sale should be adequate to move it. i found this page that says:

If you’ve purchased a vehicle from an individual, you will need to apply for registration in order to drive it in Massachusetts legally.

Massachusetts title law requires all motor vehicles and trailers (over 3,000 lbs) to be titled within 10 days of purchase.

I still feel like I'd need a previous registration at best. But I may be overthinking it. My other issue is, I am driving from MA to RI. I don't have any kind of tag to put on it to make it "look legit."

Honestly if I have to just send it and drive it unregistered to my house, so be it. It's the 350 mile trip to Delaware that I will have issues with.

I've never been to Vermont, but this should help with your RV registration issues.

That was one of the first places I looked XD

I did end up figuring out all of the little details through a couple friends today.

I'm going to go look at/go over this free RV a second time this week and 95% sure I'll be getting it and popping VT tags on it... just to be able to get it to Delaware lmao
