again....the fact that the fear of the Eldians is on some level justified is poor writing

like the Predators in Disney's Zootopia

if your opressed minority stand in actually IS dangerous towards the race that fears them...you made a mistake

I don't think either case is meant to be a 1:1 analogy to real life.  Just a general anti-discrimination message.

So Zeke switched sides?  I'm so confused.

Yup, we're going to need more on that from Zeke. Not that I'd fully trust him anyway lol.

I suppose he didn't discover Eren until after the last big battle. And he also failed in that battle and is running out of time so maybe that's changed something.

yeah, but the point is that this muddies the argument too much. it damages the anti-discrimination message when the oppressed minority is portrayed as actually being dangerous, since that misconception is so pervasive in real world racism. unfortunately, when crafting these parables, one must take people's stupidity and eagerness to buy into false narratives into account

both are so on the nose about it that I don't think it's possible they didn't mean it directly

like the god's chosen people comments in this series

or quoting Hillary Clinton's racist super predator speech about Blacks in Zootopia
