I've seen this pop up on my Twitter feed, so I added it to my watchlist. Television has really grown this last decade, and that's part of the reason why I'm no longer happy with crumbs of lgbt presence when I can have nice things like this.

Yessssh, this is true.

Which is why San Junipero episode in Black Mirror should be a whole series. :D

I wasn't even expecting it to be more than light lesbian stuff since the trailer showed, like, a peck on the cheek.  whut

I think it was probably my second favorite Park chan-wook movie (though otherwise only seen the revenge trilogy - want to see his other stuff), unless a rewatch lowers my placement of Mr. Vengeance.

Right when I saw "lesbian thriller" when it was announced I was all over that. :D

But yeah, it was pretty graphic.

My friend, she lives in South Korea, and I told her about it (before I watched it) and she watched it with her cousins 'cuz they wanted to see it.

Texts me, "that was the most awkward movie to sit through with your cousins".  >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D

As far as being graphic, I think it was on par with Blue Is The Warmest Color. :D

Yeah, he does great shit.

I agree, his trilogy stuff = the best.

With this one second. :o

I watched Thirst and he did a part in the 3 Extremes movie.

Those are aight.

3 Extremes, the Chinese director for Dumpling will always be my fav one in that movie. :D

All I knew was that the trailer was really good and I liked the director, but I also made the mistake of bringing family.  -_'

I don't regret seeing it in theaters, though, that was a great way to watch it.

I've been meaning to see Thirst and some of his other stuff. S. Korea has really good movies. I wish Hollywood was as good at movies as S. Korea. >.>

Aw snap :D I'm sorry.

Hella awkward. :D

It's okay, I watched Carol with my mom. :D :D I mean she didn't mind but I could tell she was uncomfortable....she was the one that wanted to watch 'cuz it was an "oscar movie". <_<

Rooney is bae<3

Anyway.

Seeing it in the theatre does sound like an experience!

Ah Thirst was alright.

It was a bit long, but overall I enjoyed it.

And they really do, esp in the horror field.

Which is hard to find nowadays.

I think South Korea and France deliver on that.

France will always be my favorite, tho.

Speaking of Korean movies...there's one on Netflix I want to watch.

Maybe this weekend. :D
