Netflix is making another Godzilla anime with less Urobutchi and less Polygon Pictures

It’s admittedly sort of weird separating the Legendary Godzilla that’s a big lizard Incredible Hulk (And admittedly the most heroic a Godzilla has been since the 90’s cartoon where they gave GINO his radioactive breath and made him a proper Godzilla) and the recent Japanese portrayals as enemy of all.  Wonder which one they’ll go with here.

..... wasn't it the owners of Godzilla that prohibited it from becoming an anime? Or maybe that changed.

Based on tradition, I expect Godzilla to at least have an anti-hero role. Toho hasn't made him an outright hero since the 1970's films

Unfortunately it’s CG, but it’s Studio Orange, one of the few Japanese studios that do it correctly.

That is cool. I know the first three films are not the best received for weak characters and story but I still like the animation.
