CorbeauKarasu Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 duncanville's first episode was fairly weak, but not entirely without potential. i'm rooting for it, but i hope that the terrible commercial for the next episode is just another example of fox being terrible at showcasing their humor shows in advertising. loads of family guy and american dad commercials from over the years featured joke sequences cut so terribly as to remove all the charm, resulting in plsant surprises while watching an episde i'd assumed would be bad

Basically some went overboard because they didn't give it enough screentime, even though they also gave him the main happy ending (not to say they couldn't have given it some more time and made the other character more involved prior to it if they were going to be the one they wanted him to be hooked up with). And I bet the showrunners thought they were being super woke too lol.

And I bet the showrunners thought they were being super woke too lol. that is exactly what happened, they kept bragging about how woke they were but kept doing everything wrong they could possibly do wrong, and only realized it after dropping season 7 and got nothing but negative response from the entire fanbase, even the ones who weren't pestering them about their personal same sex ships (the voice cast also called them out) 1
