Some bullshit about how they increased the gas tax and this is how they make sure hybrid owners pay their fair share. I'm sure we can trust our politicians to make sure 100% of these extra fees will go directly towards improving the roads though. I can't wait to see how much better the roads look after this and I'm sure they will with all the pay increases for those involved in passing the law.

Vehicle registrations are going up across the board too. Trade-ins over $10K are getting heavily taxed. All the money from lottery ticket sales that was supposed to be earmarked for schools is going to cover public union pensions. Now the FBI is getting involved with Chicago Aldermen & State Politicians...who suddenly decide to retire a few days after the Feds show up. Edited January 2, 2020 by tsar4

I drive a bunch so I'm still coming out ahead but still it's kinda dumb imo
