As awesome as a game Final Fantasy VI was otherwise, I was real disappointed in its ending because I wanted all the loose ends wrapped up like in FFIV.

my most favorite ending in all of gaming. that entire ending sequence from the summoning of the giants, to the fight on the moon against majoras. to him giving you the fierce deity mask, to how much of a cake walk he was after he gave you the fierce deity, to the end credits where they show every resolution to the games side story lines, to the last bit with link, tatl, tael, and the skull kid. 

 

that ending just had so much going on that made it feel very special to me.
