idk it doesn't strike me as the kinda game where youd ever need or want randoms?

Well I was just going by what IGN said....I've never played it or had a desire to, but i thought the appeal was the online universe.

I havent played it in a while, but I've beat the game before I think. It's a trip though. I bought it even though it had a lot of criticism on launch because I missed all the hype and crybaby edgelord disses it got initially.. I bought it because I'm into astronomy and piloting/space fighter games anyway, so it didn't even really disappoint me before epic games had to do what the makers of the sonic live action had to do in a way.. or so I've heard.. sure that movies still gonna be a laugh, but no mans sky is a hell of a gaming experience now if if you look it objectively. I hope you have fun with it. :)

Is it even worth it now that it flopped and there is no one on the servers

Actually a lot of big time critics that have looked into it have had to say it's not bad.. It's not even the same game that it was on launch anymore, but a bad launch destroys a game.. If you're an actual gamer you should understand that..  It still had a pretty hard grind to it even with the cleaning up... but honestly I think the lack of cinematics for an otherwise..out of this world experience is why I havent booted up the game in a while. I'll say it as much as I need to though. It's worth a second chance.
