discolé monade
finally went through some yarn that i haven't touched in years. mostly funky, #5 with pom~poms, or fur yarn. lots of yarn balls. and yarn i just couldn't. have a friend that found out her heart surgery and all the stuff that goes along with it isn't working out. she has a few years left, and wants to teach her grand babies how to crochet. i like that i inspired someone to do yarn witch craft. was it the spring cleaning i was hoping for. pffft. yeah right.

This mofo has more yarn than the nerd stores do. She's got enough yarn to make shit for the next three years.
jackiemarie90
Sharing supplies is always a good way not to waste things. I feel better when I pass on some of my items to others.

Hey Disco, have you heard of or do you ever shop at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s? They have super inexpensive yarn, especially Hobby Lobby.

Oh, I see, I make jewelry so maybe Hobby Lobby is just really cheap when it comes to the kinds of stuff I buy. Yeah, you can’t beat evil mart. I always seem to end up there *sigh* I’m a big eBay shopper though. It’s a good way to shop without the anxiety.

It’s a good way to shop without the anxiety. it's just easier to go to direct sites for me. i was so disappointed my last trip to joanne's. yarn section all but gone. and everything was so 'tight' in there. i hate the feeling of not being able to turn around without hitting something. and people. people make shopping in stores the worst.
