Doo doo is literally everywhere. I try not to think too much about it.

That's what I said in response to this on Facebook.

No telling what is on shopping carts. We always use the hand wipes to wipe down the handle on the carts. And if I ever have to pee in a public restroom, I always use a paper towel to open the bathroom door.

If I have to open a door to go in anywhere, I usually use my shirt to open it. I MUST take a shower when I get home from going anywhere. Even if I showered before going out, I have to have another one.

I don't see how anyone would be surprised by that. I don't touch anything in fast food places. I can't believe I used to actually sit inside and eat.

I still sit inside and eat, when we go, but I wipe down the seat and table. I don't like using the drink dispensers though, because people get refills and then touch the drink dispenser with their dirty cups.

I've read that your toothbrush has doo doo on it, too.

I have cats and I let them sleep in the bed with me so I imagine my bed is full of doo doo. Again, I just try not to think about it. I rarely get sick beyond a mild cold so I'd say I'm doing alright.

That's why I like BK around here, because it is a touchscreen, but you can pour the drink into your cup without picking up mouth germs with your cup. Get the drink, wash your hands.

Some show I watched did a test using toothbrushes.  Oddly, the toothbrush in the kitchen wound up with more fecal coliform bacteria than the one in the bathroom.

But...how?

I have heard of ones in the bathrooms containing fecal matter, but I don't even know anyone who stores their toothbrush in the kitchen, and how it would contain more.

I keep my toothbrush in a travel case.

My guess is the kitchen sink.  Look at last year & the number of E coli warnings about veggies that went out.  I'm sure it would be rare, but maybe the kitchen sink didn't have a P-trap?  That sewer gas coming up would deposit stuff everywhere.  I remember that the people doing the testing were just as perplexed (Mythbusters maybe?) but didn't investigate further.
