Dante’s Inferno

I found this game at a thrift store today for $2.50.  Who here has played it?  Reviews?  I’m probably going to pop it in later tonight.

I either rented this or played a demo. It's very familar to the God of War games and seemed decent.

Oh, well I’ll probably like it then because I played the first God Of War and I loved it!  I play mostly fighting games and shooters so this will be a welcome diversion.

There are definitely some strange levels and enemies in the game though

I haven't played it, but I remember it and Shadows of the Damned were compared often because EA dropped the ball on promoting the two. That and the strange imagery. Where it fused the GoW gameplay with the off-beat stylings that would naturally come out of basing an action game around The Divine Comedy.

Thrift store hauls are the best though. Found some old PS2 games I used to love and some pleasant surprises.

Let me preface my post with this .... the end of my senior year in high school and the beginning of my undergrad degree my humanities courses had a shit ton of the Divine Comedy in it, I even took a class that was entirely on the Divine Comedy 

 

..... now having sad that .... its probably worth about 10 bucks 

I never finished it because it got kinda repetitive to me after a little while. However I have not been attacked by a vagina or nipples in any game since ... so there's that.
