OwlChemist81
I'm probably way off-base with some of these, but here are my guesses: Black Clover Season 2 Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 My Hero Academia Seasons 3 & (unannounced) 4 Lupin the 3rd Part 5 Attack On Titan Season 3 Part 2 One-Punch Man Season 2 JoJo Part 5 Gundam Origin TV Edit Edited December 18, 2018 by OwlChemist81
Daos
Mob Psycho S2 you mean? Uhhh I'm gonna say Goblin Slayer and maybe Re Zero when they finally finish the Dub. Sao 3 BC, MHA and AOT about 100 percent sure those are gonna air. One Punch is probably a given also. No more Jojo/Lupin/Gundam plz. But I'm sure they'll keep getting them. Hopefully they get something new instead of just additional seasons of stuff they already air..... like Overlord, or Tanya. The1gairon
Look at all the Parts. Yep. Always playing it safe. It's relatively easy to make predictions now, because we know Toonami only gets the most in-demand anime that is both popular and isn't nailed down by exclusive rights, AND it gets brownie points if it's a sequel season to an anime that was already a hit. Funimation, with their deal with Hulu, will remain to be seen if they will allow Toonami to air new shows, and I don't see why they couldn't, since they been tight with them for years and their catalogue is immensely varied. The following are shows I PREDICT they will air, not what I personally would prefer to see... - Mob Psycho 100 S2 - One Punch Man S2 - Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 - Jojo Part 5 These are all assuming some of them even get a dub, like OPM S2. - SAO Season 3 .... is debatable. It will most definitely get dubbed, but it will depend on if another company wants priority. For more risky choices, I would love to see - Goblin Slayer - SSSS.Gridman - That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime - either Steins;Gate shows
Blatch
Probably nothing I want to watch. For a serious answer, we'll probably get all the sequels to hot shows people are expecting, like the next batch of AoT episodes, Mob Psycho S2, and more Lupin. But I really can't predict anything else while we're in a age when Toonami misses out on most things unique. It'll probably take until the Crunchyroll partnership strengthens to see any changes. Speaking of that, I think there's a chance Children of Ether comes back as a CR original on Toonami. It would be the latter's consolation prize of a LeSean Thomas show for missing out on Cannon Busters. Otherwise, we might be limited to whatever Viz gets for new stuff. There are some shows (like Planet With) that I can only ever see airing on Toonami if they pick them up. And maybe the dub of Mr. Osomatsu will come if they can get it finished already. The1gairon
Inb4 Ellation Studios'/Crunchyroll's first original show High Guardian Spice on Toonami. *shivers* ... oh. And Blade Runner.
OwlChemist81
OF COURSE I meant Mob Psycho 100 Season 2. My finger must have slipped. I've already changed that. I thought 2020 for Blade Runner. And yeah, I forgot about SAO 3. Edited December 18, 2018 by OwlChemist81
The1gairon
What other shows could Toonami air now that they're flirting with Crunchyroll after Mob Psycho 100? Hmm. Maybe Food Wars? How has that dub been progressing? I heard nothing about it past Season 1. I think Overlord would be good too.
EmpressAngel
I have doubts that Jojo 5 will be ready next year, considering how long it took to get part 4 licensed. MHA season 4's been announced for October, while season 3 should wrap up on the block somewhere in July or August depending on marathons. They'll probably either rerun the last couple episodes of 3 to keep it fresh in people's minds while they wait for 4, or just shove an FLCL rerun in there to fill time until it's ready. PokeNirvash
I predict Demarco will die in a hilarious fashion, Gill will take the reins of Toonami, and finally we can get some inclusivity again. 1
