Doom Metal Alchemist Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 I've got Craig of the Creek on in the background, and Craig exclaims, "The cake is fake! You don't have any cake!" And all I could think was, I'll bet the original line called for "The cake is a lie!" but the producers decided that meme is too old for the current crop of kids to know so they took it out. But what do I know, as far as I know, the line that ended up being in the show could've been the original line anyway.

Doom Metal Alchemist Posted July 10, 2018 Author Posted July 10, 2018 Just now, Saiyanman said: that's it Well did you watch any of it? I'm dying to know what you think! CN seems to have a weird dichotomy right now of shows that cater to the ADHD crowd (TTG, Unikitty) to shows were nothing exciting happens, like ever (Craig of the Creek, Summer Camp Island (I think that's what it was called)).

I couldn't have cared less for it. I feel fortunate enough to have grown up with the CN shows I had as a child. 1

Every time that show is on and I get to watch it it's the same damn episode where they're mapping the poison ivy forest and find the trampoline kid

I figured it was the pilot and it was the only ep that had been made at that point. Then later on I learned it was like episode 3 or something.
scoobdog Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 A meme... too old... for the current crop of kids to know.... Huh...

Yea I'm complaining.

I haven't heard it in a long ass time. You think ten year olds dig through dead Internet past and learn of everything that was popular 10 years ago but hasn't been popular in years? I sure don't.
