Okay see THIS is an improvement.  The numbers only give me headaches and I been looking at the ratings for way longer than I should've! I hope other networks follow suit if this proves to be a good move for CN and maybe then they'll find a way to measure how many eyes watching streaming shows/movies too!

In another situation, I feel like this would be whiny complaining against the system. At least Turner is apparently doing well enough to warrant not needing good TV ratings... although I am somewhat skeptical.

Yeah my skeptical side is telling me they're only making this as an excuse so the gradually declining ratings in GENERAL FOR ALL OF CABLE is justified.

I mean... Nielsen definitely isn't perfect anymore. 

But what are you replacing it with? What system do you have in place to determine how much advertisers pay for each show?

That’s the problem.  Everyone goes “Nielsen’s are shit and inaccurate but it’s the best we got.”

Because no one offers an alternative.
