did you notice the word "notebook" as in "notebook computer"

That's not true....My kids have notebooks and "notebooks".....They never manage to confuse which they are talking about because context is an actual thing

I'm out of the loop because I don't think I actually know what a chromebook is.  I thought it was those tablets some schools have now.

I like notebook better than laptop.  Seems more logical, and precise.  It always looks like a notebook, and I usually use it on a desk or on a bed or whatever.

 

Same with tablet, as opposed to pad.  Tablet seems more precise.

"pad" is a feminine hygiene product.  ipad makes me think of the south park episode.

tablet is a good word, I like tablet
