My Uber driver came 15 minutes after I requested the line

He was supposed to be here at 6:24 so that I could catch my 6:30 bus, but then my phone showed him stopping at this intersection that has a Dunkin' Donuts, and he stayed there for a few minutes. I called him up, and he said that he'd be here in a few minutes, but by the time he finally showed up it was 6:26, and I couldn't possibly make it to my bus in time. So I cursed him out and said that I was canceling the ride because he made me miss my bus, and told him that instead of getting food he should be doing his job and he raced off. So now I need to hitch a ride with a coworker in about an hour.

When I canceled, it said fee waived, so I hope that means I'm not charged for this nonsense. If he ever does this again, I might just have to pull him out of the driver side window!!! >:(

When I was in Philadelphia I had the worst uber experiences unless I went with the upgraded options. Had times where the driver would just cancel on me and it would try and charge me a fee. Thankfully if you go onto the website you can have any of those removed simply by saying that the driver just never showed up, they don't even need any evidence. Either way Philadelphia has the worst Uber I system I had ever seen, at least if you are running the economy trips. I believe now they call the economy one uberX, but it was awful in Phili. No issues anywhere else I have had it. Also most of the drivers couldn't speak english and didn't know their way around the city.

They can deny you service by deciding Dunkin Donuts is more important than picking you up, though.

Technically the individual drivers could deny you service because they don't like the color of your shirt. The driver could get their account suspended if the customer complains but Zeni would probably just end up insulting the Customer Service rep and get himself suspended. That's assuming he's not too beta to even call them in the first place.

I doubt he even talked to the driver in the first place. It's more likely he came here to whine about how he cancelled a ride without a word spoken.

Uh no they can't... Unless they want to get fired... and KO'ed.. ???

And yes you're allowed to punch somebody if he or she violates your rights.

Please test this one out. Preferably on a cop or some other authority figure.

So we can have one less cop or authority figure? You might dislike the direction of our country under Trump, but I CARE about the national security of the United States. ??????

If they violate your rights don't they deserve it? So when the cops knock on your door or come to your workplace to bring you in for that warrant you'll just go without a fight?

Ensuring a respectful, safe environment for all drivers and riders

The way you behave while

using Uber can have a big impact on the safety and comfort of drivers, as well as your fellow passengers. Courtesy matters. That’s why you are expected to exercise good judgment and behave decently towards other people in the car when riding with Uber — just as you would in any public place.

Here are some reasons why you could lose access to Uber as a rider:

Physical contact with the driver or fellow riders. As our community guidelines make clear, you shouldn’t touch or flirt with other people in the car. As a reminder, Uber has a no sex rule. That’s no sexual conduct with drivers or fellow riders, no matter what. And you should never hit or otherwise hurt a driver or fellow passenger.

Use of inappropriate and abusive language or gestures. For example, asking overly personal questions, using verbal threats, and making comments or gestures that are aggressive, sexual, discriminatory, or disrespectful.

Nice try fuckface
