on one hand I can't say she doesn't look just like the anime

on the other hand, she shouldn't because she's not a cartoon, there was no reason to enlarge her eyes

If I remember correctly though in the anime and manga her eyes are large compared to everyone else's because you know she's supposedly to resemble a doll.

but having just watched an interview they literally said the reason they gave her huge eyes in the live action movie was because "anime"

 

edit: also having taken a quick glance at the OVA, it's not so much her eyeBALLS that are bigger than the other characters, but the size of her Irises (the colored part of her eye

)
