The old trailer:

Lol, thanks.

As Cinemasins would say "40 seconds of logos!" *ding* :D

"One of the most popular anime shows ever!"

TACHIKOMA is not a character!

That's kind of a shitty trailer. xD

But yeah I'll probably check it out after this run is over. :) Hopefully it's not just some throwaway thing and is a worthwhile addition to the series.

It's not a throwaway, it's like another season just in movie length :)

Now we just need a SAC 3.

But yeah, such an old-school trailer haha

Yeah, I'm still hoping lol.

Everything for the movie is the same as the series, voice cast, Yoko Kanno music, director, art style etc.

Oh that's cool.

By the way had a reply on the bottom of the last page.  Don't know if you saw it.

Yup, it's the next chapter of SAC so you should definitely watch it, everything's the same about it including the characters and timeline and takes place two years after 2nd Gig.

Oh just saw it, good question, I guess they only stuck with the relevant bits since those wars could be like a whole season or something?

They kind of do that with only overall information about the conflict surrounding that ep where the Major and Saito face off too I think? Great ep tho.

Will defimitely check it out when I get the chance.

I think there are at least two wars.  One involving America that that serial killer served in, and the war that caused the refugee situation.  I think Bato called the latter, the second Vietnam war or something.  Definitely all kept vague either way for sure.  Not sure why!

Oh yeah the Saito episode.  I think that was the same war that the serial killer guy was in, but not sure.  And yeah it was set up that way.

Oh yeah, the war that nasty serial killer guy came from that Batou fought in.

Cool, as I said, as someone who likes SAC you should enjoy the movie :)

Why would not being able to get drunk be a GOOD thing, Togusa?

So much detail.  That old sewing machine, heh.

The strange sensation was nostalgia? :D

The taste is good but who doesn't want to get drunk?

Also there's non-alcoholic beer, but I've never had it so I can't speak for the taste.

Always tried to understand what exactly is going on here

Which part?

I'm not sure about the cranes themselves other than the challenge of manipulating the artificial hands well enough to make them.

The part I get is the backstory of the Major.

And Kuze
