Section 4 could have had less generic designs, haha.

Togusa took those guys out like it was nothing.

Yeah, they're pretty samey lol, though it was cool we got see them take off their their gear there, was a nice little Batou character moment with them.

That was so badass by Togusa! :)

Encrypted with prime numbers.  Saw an episode on NOVA about that.  It's supposed to be unhackable!

Eh, people with those eyes are rangers?

Crap, Major's leg is stuck.

Kuze's gone cuckoo lol.

That's a crazy plan, Major.

What a cliffhanger aaaahhh!

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/439870/why-are-primes-important-in-cryptography

The RSA encryption algorithm which is commonly used in secure commerce web sites, is based on the fact that it is easy to take two (very large) prime numbers and multiply them, while it is extremely hard to do the opposite - meaning: take a very large number, given which it has only two prime factors, and find them.

I never thought there was any specific purpose to those eyes.  Why would rangers have them?  And what about Boma's eyes?  They aren't exactly the same but seem similar.

Yup.

Yeah, they seem to be standard required equipment for rangers.

Good question. I assume it means all rangers receive the same tech enhancement. I bet you could find out exactly what they do. Or piece it together with the show.

Yeah, I wonder if any supplemental stuff has ever described the specific specs and abilities of those eyes.

I looked on the wiki and it didn't tell me anything we don't already know. xD

An interesting note was made, that if Bato was full cyborg he wouldn't still have those kind of eyes.  But in the episodes he's eating the cyborg food and talks about how he can't drunk, so I'm pretty sure he is full cyborg, in SAC, at least.  Still doesn't explain why he wouldn't just change to normal eyes, or what having those eyes has to do with being a ranger.

Yeah I was thinking the Wiki would definitely give some info. If you're looking for some all around GiTS discussion the sub reddit is actually really good. They tend to get into the deeper meaning behind things.

I don't really care for Reddit's format at all.

It's a discussion forum. Couldn't be any more straight forward.

I've seen it before.  It's more like a big comment section.  Too disorganized.  There's not even any avatars or separation of posts or anything.

Its separated by sub reddit and then topic. There were some awesome posts in the GiTS sub reddit this week.

The good music is playing.

Motoko Kusanagi isn't her real name?

Looks like she figured out who he is but he hasn't figured who she is, though he realizes they do have some things in common.

Why is Motoko hugging Kuze?

So the Major feels she can open up to Bato.  Cool.

Bato with a cross.  But why? xD

Didn't the Tachikomas already sacrifice themselves in part 1?

GOOOOODAAAAAA!
