The outcry does not generally arise simply from the presence of demonic elements, but rather the nefarious hiding of satanic propaganda in something that otherwise appears wholesome. After all, before dropping the Con-Carne act, the show was titled "Grimm and Evil", so nobody was really looking for duplicitous corruption. Sure, it's probably on a list somewhere, along with Digimon for calling out 6:06:06 as the hour of the beast, and other blatant references.
