you've got to be pulling close to what someone with a 50k salary would be making

I wish

After taxes I usually end up with about 1,200 each check. Biggest check I ever got was around 1400.

Keep in mind I'm technically "part time" in that I'm only scheduled like 35 hours a week so I need to get some extra hours just to start getting ot.

Do you ever get disheartened when you hit the 8 hour mark and realize instead of going home you have to work 8 more hours?

I little bit. Depends on if I volunteered or if they forced me

1200 after tax is close to what i was pulling every two weeks when i was making 50k. 50k is about $24 an hour

That math doesn't add up. 1200*26=31,200. Where are you getting 50k.

what's your YTD after tax?

$12033.51

I started in March and my first pay check was just time in orientation, no ot, not even 40 hours a week due that. Also they take out about 25 for my deferred compensation and 50 for health insurance.
