katt_goddess Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Always show up for the last day of work. No point in burning a bridge. And steal their hearts? Make them wish you weren't running like hell to somewhere else?
nameraka Posted August 10, 2017 Author Posted August 10, 2017 my calculus is that i'm never using this job as a reference because it's really off my career path. also, i was doing contract work in my field the whole time, so i don't really need it on my resume. besides, i've probably already burned the bridges with all the times i called out the last month. also, also, i really hated this fucking job. so... stapler?
NaBarney Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Is rolling in at 11am and stealing people's lunches from the fridge an option?
nameraka Posted August 10, 2017 Author Posted August 10, 2017 Is rolling in at 11am and stealing people's lunches from the fridge an option? yes. yes, that is very much an option.
nameraka Posted August 10, 2017 Author Posted August 10, 2017 Red swingline swipe one of those? i wish. they aren't that classy. i could make off with a shitload of hand sanitizer though...
Zenigundam Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Always show up for the last day of work. No point in burning a bridge. And steal their hearts? Make them wish you weren't running like hell to somewhere else? Not really. It's his last day, so he can do whatever he wants. But shouldn't steal anything because then he'll be the #1 suspect.

Show up for an hour, leave with the company Keurig.
fuggnificent Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Show up for an hour, leave with the company Keurig. theres a keurig at work. im afraid to use it. like im perplexed as to why its there when we have a commercial coffeemaker
Naraku4656 Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 theres a keurig at work. im afraid to use it. like im perplexed as to why its there when we have a commercial coffeemaker last place i worked had both a keurig and an old fashioned coffee maker. they'd always fill the coffee maker but I never saw anyone use it
Rogue_Alphonse Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 theres a keurig at work. im afraid to use it. like im perplexed as to why its there when we have a commercial coffeemaker When I worked an office job there were three throughout the building... and they provided K-cups... the coffee maker was far far away from my desk, but the closer keurig... I could make a cup of coffee and watch my phone while it was brewing, so if it rang I could sprint and grab.
