molarbear Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 When they would only turn Tornado sirens on if there was an actual tornado on the ground and not just the chance for one?
GunStarHero Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 When they would only turn Tornado sirens on if there was an actual tornado on the ground and not just the chance for one? No I just remember hearing the siren going off and saying "AHHHH!!! Oh...it's the first Wednesday of the month."

Codename: Jackass Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 When they would only turn Tornado sirens on if there was an actual tornado on the ground and not just the chance for one? On the one hand, it cannot hurt to make people aware so they can get to cover. On the other hand, it might desensitize people. We had a tornado on the ground in two different areas near town a couple years ago and they didn't turn the sirens on. Was kind of a pisser.
