Rogue_Alphonse Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Because the new Base Mustang GT gets 460 horsepowers and hits 60 in under 4 seconds. Granted that's the 10-speed auto numbers... the 6-speed manual probably gets there in around 5 seconds... but a different rear axle ratio and my driving can knock that number back Poor Dodge keeps trying, and failing..... currently there is a 4-cylinder Mustang that is faster than their new Demon you can't legally drag race even though it was built with such intent. http://jalopnik.com/the-2018-ford-mustang-hits-60-mph-in-less-than-4-second-1797206607?rev=1500930610298&utm_campaign=socialflow_jalopnik_facebook&utm_source=jalopnik_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

Rogue_Alphonse Posted July 24, 2017 Author Posted July 24, 2017 so you're saying it has speed and powuh?
K_N Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 I'll be spending $35k next year too. On the complete opposite kind of car... does 0-60 in 5.3 sec though.

I'd rather have a Model S if I went that route, and I damn sure would autocross it. Although waaaaay back in 2014, someone learned really quickly that the 2015+ Mustangs are insane on the track....
Ginguy Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Nice. I might have to look into that myself. I would consider a Tesla, but there are no charging stations.
K_N Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I want the model 3 because it's about a 5th of the cost of the model S. Also I have a charger in my garage already.
