Rogue_Alphonse
Yet during these months the only things that use gas are the range, water heater, and pilot in the furnace. The gas company just happened to be checking meters today ( :fap: ) and now is replacing ours... which doesn't look more than 10 years old. Hmm. I bet the motherfuckers knew it was leaking and try to brush it off. I also bet the gas bill goes waaayyy down by next month.

1938 Packard
I don't worry about stuff like that. The landlady here pays for the heat, hot water and stove gas. I pay for electricity, but that's not much because I very rarely use the air conditioner and I know how to count kilowatt hours.

1938 Packard
My electrical is 150 right now Hate summer just for this reason The highest bill I got in twenty years was $185. That was back during a really brutal heat wave that lasted three weeks. Keeping the windows open and running fans wouldn't cut it because the heat came with a lot of humidity and very little wind. Lies, you finally saved up enough money for an anime sexbot, but it only lasted three weeks because of how much you used it.
Sieg67
I doubt they'd budge but you could try to get a refund for the last few months based on the new average usage.
Rogue_Alphonse
My electrical is 150 right now Hate summer just for this reason It's 250 here. People keep leaving lights on, and there aresometimes 3 A/C's running at once. Rogue_Alphonse
LED install them in every room that should reduce your bill by about $80-100 I LED'd the entire house already, the fridge is brand new as well as the dishwasher... which gets ran every day. (four people living here mind you) I still have some lighting to reconfigure in the basement though. The dryer is electric and I have NO IDEA why because it used to be gas and the line is still there. Part of me wants to get a gas dryer and use the 220 outlet for a welder >
Misaka
Gas dryer would be easier on you during the summer You could upgrade your furnace to a commercial style
