Netflix picked up the ball with Cyborg 009 of all things

Remember Cyborg 009?  It was one of the last shows Toonami aired before moving to Saturdays during the original run.  For some reason, Netflix of all platforms picked up the ball, including a 12 episode OVA/3 movie adaptation, and a pseudo-sequel to the 2001 TV show that's also a crossover with Devilman.

 

And to prove Netflix has better intros than Toonami, here's the intro to the Toonami version.

It's just too bad they don't have 2001 series itself.

Sad indeed since technically speaking there isn't really any "legal" means to watching the majority of the series (Only the first 8 episodes were ever released on DVD)

I don't believe Toonami ever used the original intro for 009.
