to be technical the Catholic Church views anit-euthanasia as a pro-life thing but as for the sterilization thing myself I'm not really sure but they probably are against it but I could be wrong. My immediate family is not anti-Catholic although we are Evangelical presidents but a few of my aunts and uncles and the extended family are because of their Evangelical views and highly enough we have I have a great aunt so it's their aunt who is a convert to Catholicism

yes I think personally this is based on views that were popular in the late 19th century and early 20th may I remember JFK's dad Joseph Kennedy Sr euthanizing his one daughter because of cognitive disabilities actually was going against his own religious beliefs that Catholic church back then was against stuff like that against the disabled fun fact the Catholics actually stopped operation a4 or h4 in the Third Reich(aka nazi germany) so yeah so that is tight literally hypocritical I'm also saying that a lot of Protestants has issues against it I think mostly the descendants of German anabaptists with technically aren't anabaptist anymore at that point I believe my theology history is kind of gapping in large gaps

@Insipid I think in this case I believe cognitively disabled is possibly the most proper term I generally use it for to describe myself as neurodivergent and I'm not technically offended by the term retard because you're not calling me you're using it as a general phrase I mean it is a hurtful word. But in my opinion, a lot of neurotypical people act just as retarded as people of cognitive disabilities and neurodivergent respectively. And the great example that is the drug addicts we see in the world and that's quite literally a cognition problem there
