No, I've eaten after taking novocaine, and i never had my lips so numb I thought I might chew them off. Granted it was to take a wisdom tooth out, but, still, it was like the entire left side of my mouth.

Your dentist isn't using the Novocaine right if that's the problem.

They're better then In-N-Outs fries, though. Those fries really are just slices of potatoes fried and in a container. You have to salt them yourself. Also, Smashburger is alright, but I probably wouldn't make a special stop there. They're competing against the usual suspects, and they don't have the same coverage a local chains like The Habit have. Their shakes are pretty good though.
