None of this is portrayed very well in the show, though. I never got the impression that Gon had a psychological disorder, or that he ignored the rest of the village. This stuff you're talking about with Ging must not come until way later. You said some of this was cut or botched in the anime. So, the classic READ THE MANGA excuse, like we got with Tokyo Ghoul. Yup, I'm sure the Tokyo Ghoul manga was a fucking masterpiece, lol. It comes off more like Gon is some happy go lucky kid who plays in a forest with his animal friends and whatnot. The art style and character design gives this impression too, which was part of the SUBVERSION of course. So when he starts acting the way he does later on, it doesn't make sense. And not because it's unexpected, but because it's not explained. And like I said, there's a lack of context. How are we supposed to know what "normal" is in this world when everyone is fucked up? In fact, you could say, that if everyone is fucked up, then fucked up is normal. People who are actually nice would be considered abnormal. That's why I said it's not even clear if the human brain works the same in this universe, because of how everyone acts. Because, in the real world, even in places where people have been living in places for generations under shitty conditions, you still find human kindness and decency.

Yeah... usually in places dedicated to those... "communities." I remember when Cracked wrote that article, readers went to those places to have some lulz and suddenly shop got closed up. Videos were deleted etc. They forgot they were on a public website, however "private" it may have felt. Even still, at least they had the sense to keep it there and not blurt it out all over the place in unrelated places. It's off-topic. If you absolutely have to talk about it here, go to the appropriate folder, if there is one. You don't hear me randomly bringing up shit that doesn't have anything to do with anything. Yup there really should have been some kind of limit on what Momo could create, level of sophistication of what could be created, certain materials she couldn't make, etc. Yeah there's no reason to just make anything in a real fight against villains. I assume there's some limit to how much she can produce though.

Yeah, if Momo was like T-1000, and could just make simple constructs, it would be one thing, but we saw her make flashbang grenades and that special alloy. She could make ANYTHING. Maybe didn't do that in this case because it's a school exercise??

Man, the relationships of these characters sound really pathetic when Naruto just boils them down like this. Naruto shouldn't make Sakura love her, but Kishimoto thought it was wrong for Sakura to change her mind about Sasuke after all the shit he did. So messed up. Of course this episode wasn't written by him. If this was canon, I don't think Naruto would be saying this, after the Hinata confession.

Anyway, I'm glad that my complaint about My Hero Academia was addressed in tonight's episode. Froppy, and especially Momo, did really well tonight. Not really affecting the plot much yet, but still, an improvement!

He was raised by other people in a town. I don't know what's supposed to be so weird about it. Yes he was around animals and saw "nature in action" and all that, but so has anyone who has lived in a rural area or somewhere isolated, say they worked on a farm, or hunted, etc, and those people aren't all sociopaths. Basically, Gon is like that because he is, apparently.
