    One in a million... why? There's no reason to go the whole cliche chosen one route (I know they gave a lore reason later.) Could have just left it as the tech is new and rough still and they don't have much of it go around, and npt many people skilled enough to use it on.

    Destructo Disc. It's a great move since it ignores defense. Too bad you can't kill in this tournament though. Wah, he smashed them, then threw one back! Hahaha clever strategy. Slice up the cliff and knock him down! Jump up the rubble and back into the ring. Damn it.

    I don't care about ratings unless they get bad enough for the show or block I'm following to potentially get canceled. Granted, higher ratings means more people to share and discuss it with, which is nice, but I'm fine with being a fan of a niche property too.

    I meant Lupin and Jigen. It's mostly been those two, with Goemon showing up once in a while. Fujiko almost never shows up.

    Super-deformed would be chibi, etc. The character designs aren't the issue. It's the fact that old Rankin Bass Christmas specials have more lifelike movements.

    The Battletech/Mechwarrior mechs and planes and stuff were cool but the animation was horrible. I mean it's pretty much fine if robots look stiff and janky with their movements, but not people.

    Black Clover Page 82 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, the Black Bulls damn near killed Langris for his deadly attack on Finral, and no one would have shed a tear. The Wizard King actually decided to allow the match between Asta and Langris team to happen right away, impromptu. We learned that the Wizard King had set up this tournament partially to find out who might be an unwitting traitor helping the Midnight Sun, which is apparently why Langris only got off with admonishment and allowed him to continue fighting in the tournament. We also learned that Xerxe is an avenger of sorts, going after corrupt and evil Magic Knights. How will the match go? Find out tonight, on Black Clover, on Toonami!

    What I meant was if the gay character has a stereotypical voice in Japanese, do the dubbers have to copy that, or can they make it less offensive? Of course, that would be less "authentic" to the original and I could see people complain about that. Though I don't know how much legs they would have to stand on. But if dubbers are doing stereotypical voices just because a character is gay and didn't have that kind of voice in Japanese then that's just as bad or even worse.

    It's like the girls have been put on the back burner indefinitely. It's a shame.

    Yeah. But also it often doesn't look as good. The models are obvious and stick out like a sore thumb, and the motion is awkward. It comes off even worse when the two are mixed if the CG isn't done well and they don't mesh well at all. Can't say I'm a fan of the CG mechas being used here in Origin.
