    Hahaha. The lore of this show doesn't make sense! I thought the doc said "IF YOU DIE IN THE ROBOT YOU DIE IN REAL LIFE," but then that happened, and she's still alive, and they're saying "just because it doesn't hurt you doesn't mean it doesn't affect you." Ok.

Ok, the fact that you can delete memories or adjust things like confidence or aggression is silly enough, but the fact the doc let's them access that?!

    Woo I made it back! So I only missed Super live. We went to a great pizza place called "Home Slice," no joke. They had the flat pizza, and Sicilian pizza's dough, sauce, and cheese had a unique flavor. Good stuff! Probably better than the slop that will be served up on Food Wars tonight. My cousin had just gotten a retro-styled moped in that 1950s turquoise color and she was driving it around the block with her friend. Good times.

    Cho doesn't really fit the character description that Netflix gave, lol. He doesn't strike me as cool or badass in the least. Who is writing this? I don't know if her ethnicity was ever clear. She legit looks Ishvalen lol. Or they don't have her play Ed true to the character if she even can act. The way Ed behaves is very... specific. It will be hard to get it right and come off well.

    You're using anti-SJW vocabulary which is making me question your credibility, and where you're coming from on this. The current Star Wars is just fine. Lucasfilm is not hurting financially. And Disney doesn't make story decisions. People are fine to create any characters they want. And the Star Wars characters are new so there's no race bending involved. Finn's character wasn't even specifically black and was actually white in concept art. It was said John Boyega nailed the audition. When Kelly Marie Tran auditioned for Rose, Rian Johnson said he felt the role was written for her. Not sure if that character was specified Asian or not, but I don't know why that would matter. I would rather the casting be more accurate to the characters in Bebop, because I don't like pre-established characters being changed like that, but if the actors can pull it off, it should still be good.

    We're celebrating my Aunt and her youngest daughter's birthday together today (they're close together,) so I might miss the beginning of Toonami if I don't back get back home before 10 Central tonight. We'll see.

    I don't know why it never occurred to me that Uzumaki means spiral. It's there in the Uzumaki clan symbol and the Leaf symbol, and the Rasengan. https://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+25001 For the character's name, he chose "Naruto", in reference to a ramen topping called kamaboko, which is a sliced stick with a pink whirlpool-like design in the middle. The reason why he chose this name was because Ramen was the character's favorite food in the series. The character's surname "Uzumaki" is a pun on "spiral" (渦巻), while "Uzumaki" refers to a three-dimensional spiral, like a whirlpool or vortex. A more accurate translation for spiral would be "Rasen". The series is seen to make frequent references to spirals.
