Well that "shonen drivel" is what keeps the block running. But it's still possible to have anchor shows, and some more experimental stuff on the side. Think of Michiko & Hatchin and Megalobox. It's been done. Where was this said that Funimation was responsible and not Adult Swim? All I remember him saying was "we're not editing Fire Force." Does that mean we as in Toonami, Adult Swim, or S&P? Usually you can tell. Usually they will change something, the color, whatever. Even if they try do it exact you can usually tell something is off. The way Maka looked there it seemed not like an original screen shot. And as I said, if something on DeviantArt isn't a redraw or original art, it shouldn't be there!

It's made long mostly by the pics I posted. I could have spoilered some of it, I guess, but eh. I was determined! And still didn't find most of what I was looking for. Well it was hosted from DeviantArt. That's meant for uploading your own art, not just putting random images up. If it's not at least a redraw ,then they just jacked a screen shot and claimed it as theirs, or at the very least are misusing the site, as it's not an image hosting site in that sense.

I went ahead and re-watched episode 53 and made some notes of things. It's the episode where Yami confronts Vangeance about possibly being the leader of the Midnight Sun. I sense it may be relevant soon. Here's my post from the last thread - Okay, I re-watched episode 53, which is the one where Yami has his meeting with William Vangeance in the tree. Yami acknowledges their history, going back 10 years, and how they both became Magic Knight Captains, and fought together on the battlefield multiple times. So Yami already knew about this guy's magic. He asks if World Tree Magic is the only kind he has. So I guess people can have more than one type? Vangeance's backstory is that he was the illegitimate son of a noble, and when the heir dies, he is brought to live with the noble family. The noble's wife and everyone else hates him, and mocks him because on the birth mark, yada yada yada. Wizard King invites him to join the Magic Knights, and makes that mask for him. Even Vangeance thought it was tacky! Yami internally monologues that the scars don't show any energy, so they really are birth marks and not wounds from a fight and/or magic (I think that's what that meant,) he doesn't sense any illusion, and his ki tells him that Vangeance isn't lying. Yami decides that Vangeance having the same build and face (scars aside,) and similar voice, is a coincidence. They also had similar ki! Didn't some people theorize at the time that the "dead" heir could be Licht? So they could be brothers? I thought that Licht was an elf, but he's briefly shown when referenced in this episode and has normal ears. I could've sworn he was an elf. Then what was the reason for that flashback with those elves getting wiped out at a wedding during that arc where they fight Licht in a cave? Licht wasn't the groom there? I guess there is some connection to elves because I think that third eye magic is elven or something, and Licht, Vetto, and I think Fana, when she was angry mode, talked about hating humans. And didn't Fana have elf ears when she was with the Midnight Sun and under that spell, or am I remembering wrong? Maybe I should re-watch some other eps if I get the chance. I mean, it wouldn't make sense for elves to be among the nobles, right? There was also some hilarious stuff in this episode with Bell being jealous of Charmy and Asta. She calls Charmy a pint-sized fivehead! Charmy talking about how she's nineteen and her sexiness lmao. Charmy needs to stop being chibi all the time! At least she stops it for a while when she tries to get Yuno's attention in this ep LOL. This is also the ep where Langris tries to kill those villagers along with the enemy snot mage, but Asta, Charmy, and Finral take out the snot mage. Asta launched like a missile and holding his sword in mouth because his arms were still broken LOL. At the end of the ep they have that short scene with the Mage Knights in the Diamond Kingdom. The mysterious one talking still hasn't been fully revealed, but the captions name him as Morris and the credits say he is played by Chuck Huber. Though he sounds different to me, so maybe Chuck Huber has more range than I thought. Mars and the crazy laser beam guy are clearly visible in the group. There's other ones we haven't seen in action yet. One is a big tall fat guy that sort of resembles Gray's big dude form, for whatever that's worth. One looks kind of like Mr. 1 from One Piece, so there's another non-white character. There's another one who is completely in silhouette and impossible to make out anything. Could be a woman, or a guy with shoulder length hair, or that's a helmet lmao. Damn you sunset! Oh, and they all wear fur capes lol. So yeah, lots of relevant stuff in that ep! Oh, and Marx, the Wizard King's assistant is played by Aaron Dismuke! I had thought he was John Burgmeier (Tien, Fried)!

Black Clover Page 86 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, in a hot springs episode with surprisingly little fan service, Yami told the story of his first meeting with Captain William Vangeance, where One Man Seven Samurai Yami was assisted by Vangeance in getting rid of some bandits that were giving farmers a hard time. The two hit it off and decided to both try to become captains. Hopefully tonight, on Black Clover, on Toonami, we will learn why it was necessary to flash back to this and suddenly focus on Vangeance now.

That first one is from DeviantArt, so could be off from how she looks in the show. Could be a redraw too, which wouldn't look exactly the same. The second two are legit from the show for sure, though. Lol, her eyes look like creepy dead doll eyes most of the time, which always weirds me out, and was tough to get past, since I did end up liking her, and the show overall. And, then, yeah, sometimes they have a pupil and gloss, and it's for certain expressions and reactions (but not always,) and the Black Blood form. My google searches are really not going well, and I remember her having more glossiness to her eyes during those times, but I'm not finding that, so maybe I am remembering wrong, I don't know. Looks like no glossiness to her eyes when she has pupils in the pictures either of us found. I don't remember her eye turning a brighter color at those times, either. Here is a gif where her eye has gloss to it, but no pupil. So I guess there are more than two variations to her eyes. Annoying that it's a gif and not a picture, though, makes it harder to see. And this Maka looks quite a bit different. Looks like this is from Soul Eater NOT. I swear this looks like a totally different person. It looks like Haruko lmao. I guess it is the energy giving her hair a pink tinge, that expression looks like one Haruko would make, and it's easy to trick your mind into seeing the scythe as her guitar hahaha. LMAO, did Maka actually say that? That's pretty great! But yeah, so manga version here, and it more or less jives with the anime examples. Well, I'm tired of looking. I'm not getting anywhere. I can't believe there aren't more pictures uploaded of Maka and her different expressions and how her eyes change, since it's such a distinctive and memorable thing. And Yahoo was no better, less of the relevant results. And Daos was right about it being easier to find anime porn there, but you also get a ton of it when not looking for porn! What the hell. Turn the safe search on and a good amount relevant results get nulled along with the porn. And I'm not even going to bother with Bing, lol. There's got to be a character design guide or lineup like we get with other shows out there somewhere. But maybe that's a more recent thing. Maybe there is a site with a bunch of screen shots. People used to do tons of screen shots for shows back in the day, episode by episode. But I don't know where those sites are now, or if people still kept doing that. I used to remember them for InuYasha and stuff. Otherwise I'd just have to re-watch the show, which I don't know if I have time for that right now. I'm very annoyed lol. Here is a cute, more realistic, alternate art style fan art of Maka, for the heck of it. Gotta' get something out of this, lol. I have seen as much of Fire Force as what Toonami as shown, and just making observations of what I have seen so far. I didn't pick up on all that other stuff. I do remember seeing Death's face somewhere though. Yeah that is what I was getting at. It definitely looks more "normal" anime and not as out there as Soul Eater. This an extreme example and all from Black Blood form, but I don't think we'll be seeing much like this in Soul Eater. Hibana got pretty crazy at times, but not to this level, I don't think. Here is one of Maka just being silly. Again, not close to what we have seen or probably will see in Fire Force. Oh I see. But I'm sure there was a story reason for it, though.

You literally said that the character acts like she doesn't remember stuff that happens and doesn't respond appropriately to the danger. The way you describe sounds like shitty horror character 101. ...Well, that doesn't sound as much like a spoiler when I put it like that, sounds like something someone would write in a review, but I still prefer to not know those sorts of things going in. Same reason I don't read reviews about movies before I see them. Besides giving away too much info, I don't always agree with them anyway, so it doesn't make sense to use them as a decider over whether to watch something. So I end up reading an opinion that may not help me anyway, and not go in as cold as I wanted! It does suck! It's an old-ass, basic-ass computer, and I definitely need to get a new one, one of these days! But it doesn't load on my phone, either. But, that's old, too. But at least I will be getting a new phone later this week and maybe I can see the emotes you used then!
