Are you a choir boy all of a sudden, Elfie? That didn't need to be spoilered! But here I might as well post something as well.

It should be the real script, since Colin Trevorrow had confirmed the concept art leaks or whatever that stuff was from earlier. I will give it a read later. At the time he was fired, it seemed like the right decision, given the *ahem* quality of his other work. From videos summing up the plot I have seen, on paper, some of the stuff sounds great, some not so much. In execution it could end up badly, or maybe even better than it sounds. Rise of Skywalker is a lot better in execution, than hearing the plot breakdown on paper, in my opinion, anyway. It's always tempting to imagine what could have been, but the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence. But at the end of the day, we'll never know. It is what it is. Death Star Destoyers weren't needed, I agree. Just that fleet should have been enough of a threat. Palpatine definitely did not fall into the core of the Death Star. I never thought that from watching the movie. You can tell just from watching the movie he doesn't fall nearly that far. I figure he falls a good ways down and then either hits a metal beam and explodes, hits an energy field and explodes, or gets blown up by his own Force Lightning after a while. He definitely did not seem to survive though lol. But here EC Henry actually did a fun little video calculating how far Palpatine would have fallen.

Where is it confirmed from? And isn't the movie already nearly that long, anyway? I had also heard that the things that were cut were more exposition and frenetic action, as in, not anything that would helped the issues the movie already had, or give it breathing room, just more of what was already there. This is the reason they gave for cutting out more of the explanation for Palpatine.

I saw the Sonic movie yesterday. They had a cool SEGA logo at the beginning with all these screens of SEGA games footage, and rings used on the Paramount logo. It was not the most earth-shattering thing I've ever seen, but it was a fun movie. Sonic looked great. And there were some legit laugh out loud moments. When Sonic and the cop dude go to the biker/hot rodder/cowboy bar it is hilarious. Sonic eats chili dogs! I suppose there could have been more spectacle, but maybe they wanted to not go so crazy for the first movie, since they were introducing everything. (It seems obvious there will be a sequel.) Jim Carrey was full Jim Carrey! When Tom asks Sonic what he is, he says he's a hedgehog, isn't it obvious? There were some nice references to the games.

You mean teleconferencing? Well I hope they aren't writing anything themselves. We saw how well IGPX turned out. Actually, FLCL Alternative wasn't written well either, and that was done on the Japan side. Yes the oh so lovely singles program and music videos they feel the need to foist upon us. It's a waste of money, time, and resources. It's an excuse for DeMarco to get his hipster wank on and he manages to get paid for it. He still has this pinned to his Twitter. I think he'll be okay. So the sob story of them not getting paid to do Toonami is still canon? But only recently I read a comment from DeMarco saying, something to the effect, of how Toonami is a lean, well-oiled machine that actually makes money. Before then the impression was it was a passion project money sink. But now all of a sudden that's not true and it's too expensive and unwieldy, to the point of having to cut back severely, and also because they don't want to do the work. And putting something like Food Wars means less work because it just refreshes itself. I'm sure DeMarco can't stand that anime has transitioned from the long-running to seasonal model. Not necessarily saying it's easy. But I mean, someone else could probably do a better job at this point. Have some people that are just dedicated to working on Toonami. Demarco and co. aren't exactly cutting edge anymore, either. Trying to recapture lightning in a bottle with more FLCL series is the exact opposite of that. You know, what creatively bankrupt Hollywood execs will resort to? Tired and unwanted sequels and remakes or reboots of proven classics. Now they have become the dinosaurs they used to be a refreshing alternative to. An "original" series would be an actual original idea. But, we all saw how great their original idea, IGPX, was... Uzumaki I will admit sounds unique and different, at least.

Demarco said programming wanted a time slot and that is why a time slot was lost and a show wasn't replaced. Now he is saying they made the decision together, completely going against what he said before.

Naruto Shippuden Episode 284 Discussion

Wait that was one of the Mist Swordsmen that appeared earlier? I thought he was just a random dude hahaha. The episode is named after him. Yeah it seems like Kishimoto ran out ideas. Makes me think of how the other Jinchuriki got glossed over. -

I looked him up and he's 33, not as young as I I thought, so he could have done it I guess. Don't know if it was credited though. And man he looks just like Eminem in this picture! -

I mean he is stalking people and being a major creep and asshole. If the show didn't make it clear it's for his cooking technique I would think that would still be considered offensive even if he didnt actually try to rape somebody. Well yeah, but both Aldinis lol. But the other one hasn't been developed as much. -

And here we have filler from now until 295. https://www.animefillerlist.com/shows/naruto-shippuden/helmet-splitter-jinin-akebino It seems like the filler writers like to give underutilized characters some limelight.
