Since there weren't very many people here last week, or at least not by the time I posted, I figure I may as well link back to my post about what happened with my family over the past few weeks. Here is the obituary that we put together for my aunt - On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, S.O., loving daughter, sister and aunt, passed away at the age of 57. She graduated from college with a degree in restaurant management in 1985. She was adored by both babies and animals. Her family's children and pets were drawn to her and she cared for them as her own. Even adopting Julia (Ben’s cat) which saved her life on one occasion. S. had a passion for music. She loved artists such as Lady GaGa, Kiss and Green Day. Often she could be found listening to her music through her headphones and singing along. She also loved to watch wrestling and NASCAR and enjoyed hobbies such as crocheting and seeing movies with her family. She was known for her intelligence, her gleeful smile and always speaking her mind. I edited out some of the personal details. The funeral was yesterday. Anyway, suffice to say, I am having a rough time. Tomorrow I will be watching Hell in a Cell by myself, as my Aunt would usually watch wrestling PPVs with me. I guess I'll be seeing a lot of movies by myself too from now on. And Discovery Season 3, and Picard. Julia is still hanging out in her room and sleeping on her recliner, etc. I really don't want to accept that this is reality, that this is how it is from now on, the "new normal." But I am trying my best to stay positive and think back on the good times. Hopefully Toonami can still bring the enjoyment as it has in the past for me. Well, then that is our last sliver of hope. I actually had suggested before that the reason for the reruns restarting where they did was for when they end, Season 4 premieres (but not in that time slot, obviously.) But I'm not holding my breath.
